The Fred Baker Memorial Scholarship fund awards a scholarship to one recipient in each of New Jersey’s 21 counties on an annual basis. The program was established to promote public awareness of the dangers faced by law enforcement officers, particularly Corrections Officers, on a daily basis while also assisting young men and women in New Jersey who are interested in pursuing a career in criminal justice or Emergency Medical Services.
